Creating intentional, purposeful, and fun photo experiences for graduating seniors and couples on their wedding day (when I'm not being a mama or hanging out on the beach).
A Summer Southern Wedding at Britton Manor in North Carolina
Conner and Parker
Where do I even begin?! Summer hurricane season brought some unexpected high winds, black clouds and heavy rain to Conner and Parker’s wedding day. Although everyone was facing a pretty big challenge, I was determined to let NOTHING ruin their special day! As a wedding photographer, my ultimate goal is to serve my bride and groom well by being a constant source of joy while creating happy, timeless memories for them to look back on and cherish forever.
After sensing the stress and urge to hold back tears (in addition to knowing my couple and their desires), I suggested to Conner I thought it would be a great idea to start off with the first look. She agreed and her and Parker both were so giddy + excited to see each other! After letting out all the feels and sharing hugs of comfort, they chose to exchange private vows. This was such a tender moment for them. Conner and Parker, I can never tell you enough how thankful and honored I am to have been invited alongside your journey to forever. I have no doubt you two will conquer the world by each other’s side. Capturing your love has been such a highlight in my life this past year!
Amongst all odds – from shooting portraits under a carport (while standing hunched over on a golf cart), to capturing bride and groom portraits in 15 minutes at dark:30, only a few minutes of sunshine pre-ceremony, standing water everywhere … we fully embraced the old saying “rain on your wedding day is good luck” and celebrated BIG with all their closest friends and family! Without further ado, please enjoy a glimpse into a few beautiful moments from their unforgettable wedding day!
