Spring Wedding at The Cornealius Properties

Sofie & Jon

Sofie and Jon chose to have their destination wedding at The Cornealius Properties, home of the Birdsong Chapel. The amount of people who flew in and drove long distances to attend their wedding goes to show just how much these two are loved. Despite the heavy rain, thunder, and lighting we started off with, their day couldn’t have been more perfect!

Sofie and Jon’s love is so special. After meeting in middle school Jon told one of his friends that he was going to marry Sofie one day. It wasn’t until his senior year of high school that he worked up the courage to ask her out. Sparks were immediate and they knew they loved each other. However, the couple split for a couple years when Sofie moved off to college. Jon said he never stopped loving Sofie and when she realized that the only thing missing in her life was Jon – they rekindled their love. Sofie said she knew for sure Jon was the one when he dropped everything to move to Nashville, TN so she could follow her dreams and pursue country music. What was supposed to be a going away party for the two ended up being a surprise proposal!

To the couple: Marriage is beautiful, hard, and everything in between. Your love is so special and this is just the beginning of your story. Remember your sweet vows, never stop dating, and never stop falling in love. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Elliott! XO, Kelsie
