Creating intentional, purposeful, and fun photo experiences for graduating seniors and couples on their wedding day (when I'm not being a mama or hanging out on the beach).
Ahhhhh, where to even start?!?! Seriously the BEST few days surrounded by amazing women + business owners. There is just something about being in a room full of likeminded people with BIG goals. It’s exactly the fire I needed to realize that I CAN do the dang thing – but I can’t do it alone. Our intensives were soooo good, and I cannot wait to pour everything I learned back into this business to serve you even better. For now, let’s have fun with the recap!
Charleston Dreams
… into reality
I have been dreaming of the day I could shoot with The Pink Figgy! Literally my vision executed perfectly. BONUS I got to do it with my bestie! Here are a few of my faves:
The food. Gosh, the food. Some of the best I have eaten in my entire life! I will literally dream about Hank’s shrimp & grits and the Breakfast Strata from Millers.
We took a carriage tour and although I’m not typically a history fanatic, it was so cool to learn all about the town’s history (which it’s full of). Fun fact: The Belgian horses average about 40,000 calories a day and drink 25-30 gallons of water!
Iconic Rainbow Row. The colors, architecture, blooms… what a dream. I think I could photograph downtown Charleston 1000x and never get tired of it. Our amazing coach provided each of us with updated headshots here!
Of course we had relaxation time built in too. Elements Massage was absolutely amazing and much needed. 10/10 recommend if you’re ever in town. It honestly was too hot to even think about the beach, but evening walks during sunset were so peaceful on Folly Beach. Loved the bonding + quality time we were able to spend with each other too to build lasting friendships!
And to finish off this recap, our intensives were great! One thing that really hit home for me was goal setting. If you fail to plan, you will fail. That seems like common sense I guess, but being a Type B I have never actually put a plan in place to reach my business goals. But, you know what they say – the best time to start is now!
